Nota Biográfica:

Nagaraj Patil pursued his master degree in Chemical Science at Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research, Kolkata, India. His master thesis focused on development of Mueller matrix polarimetry for quantitative thermoresponsive behavior analysis of hydrogels based on poly(ethylene oxide)s. Then he moved to University of Liege in 2013 for his Doctoral studies in Science, under the supervision of Prof. Christine Jerome. His thesis entitled “multifunctional polyelectrolytes bearing pendant catechol / quinone for energy and environmental applications” was a part of a prestigious European project, Renaissance ITN (grant number 289347) funded through FP7 Marie Cure Actions.

Since November 2017, Dr. Nagaraj Patil holds a postdoctoral position in the group of Electrochemical Processes Unit at IMDEA energy institute. His research interests focus in the field of organic electrochemical energy storage, with special enforcement to emphasize on an integrated approach of synthetic polymer chemistry (redox-active polymers and conducting polymers) and applied electrochemical technologies (metal-ion and all-polymer batteries both in stationary and flow configurations). He is author of 9 scientific articles published in different international journals and has participated in 10 international conferences (3 oral presentations and 7 posters).
